Her story:

Bethany is 15 years old and has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, fibromyalgia, and Epilepsy. Bethany has been through many struggles and health issues since she was 6 years old. Autoimmune disorders are very difficult to diagnose, treat and deal with. As you can see in the pictures, Bethany looks very healthy. Bethany is very active in her youth group. She is Youth Council President and Worship Leader of the Youth Praise Band. She is a sophomore in high school this year after being on homebound for at least some part of the year since she was in 3rd grade. Bethany's attitude is "Today might be the day that God heals me completely!" She truly wants to be able to go on mission trips as soon as she turns 18. Her biggest plans are to go to Guatemala and has friends that are missionaries there now. Please keep Bethany in your prayers, and please leave her a message in her guestbook. Her story:
Maria is a 5 years old little girl. She likes music and she often dances. She thinks she's a little princess or better a fairy coming here on purpose among you,to learn that to love somebody is not an effort and words are useless, and more than that it is not necessary to be "intelligent". To love somebody is enough to smile and to look in somebody's eyes and be prepared to offer that love to everyone . She always givse a hug to her mother and I says "aha-daha!", thing which, in fairies’ language, means : Mother,I love you !
In 2004 Maria was diagnosed with infantile autism. Now she's trying to fight this condition through a special type of therapy called ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Such a therapy is expensive and that is why Maria needs you to help her in her struggle.

His story

Iustin is just 22 years old, student at the College of Theology from Craiova(Romania) and a professor at the Middle School Plopsoru from Gorj(Romania). He has recently been diagnosed with Acute promyelocytic leukemia(AML) and needs urgently a marrow transplant which costs 100.000 Euro. The transplant needs to be made in Austria in May 2009.

My Mission

My name is Adrian and I'm a 25 year old PhD student who things that he has found the sources of humanity's problems, namely indifference, ignorance, selfishness and greed. In order to correct these issues we need to start taking some small steps, or else things could get worse.
I have always wondered why people choose to worship gods, but neglect their fellow humans. Along its history, humanity has always fought for the love and preference of self-created gods and they forgot that the one God that gave us life, placed us in the center of the Universe that He created. Such a God doesn't want us to worship him, but he would rather see us worship each other, love each other and all the things he has created. This is basically what Christ taught as, but his teachings were filtered out, for political reasons, by the church. There's a piece of divinity in each of us, we just need to find it and amplify it at a global scale.
Through this blog I want to give life to a new way of looking at things, to a new "religion" that is centered around the Man, our neighbour, our colleague, our friend, our enemy, a stranger walking by the street. We need to stop looking with indifference to those we see every day, because their destiny is interconnected to ours and it has a certain degree of influence over it. By paying attention to their problems and helping them solve them, we can help ourselves.
I'm sure that everyone of you reading this would like to help a person in great need, but find out about the existence of such cases only when it is too late. This is where my blog comes in. Everyday I will present the case of a person that needs our help (I will call him "God of the Day"), giving details about the nature of his/her problem and about ways you can help him/her. Starting from that day you could enter him in your personal list of "gods" and start treating him accordingly. Our gods won't need gifts and offerings just for the sake of satisfying their own ego (as normal, man-made gods do) but because they need material resources in order to survive in a world that has forgotten them.
So start healing yourself, by helping those in need. Start Loving the Man!!!
